Hosea - The Prophet for Our Days
The Book of Hosea is the first of the Minor Prophets of the Old Testament. His mission is for the most part directed to the Ten Tribes of the Northern Kingdom or House of Israel and partly by contrast to the House of Judah.
Hosea is written in symbolic or allegorical terms which the author explains using both the context of the nation at that time and the current events of today.
